Laura, Catherine, Carrie and Jessica bring a great deal of enthusiasm and knowledge to our assisting team.They has taken the initiative to become educated and certified in all possible aspects available to dental assistants in Alberta. They utilizes the latest techniques to ensure absolute sterilization of equipment and instruments. Our assistants are fully qualified to operate specialized state of the art equipment such as our low radiation panoramic X-ray machine. (no carboard film in your mouth), digital radiographs, and high intensity light equipment.
Doris, Jasmine, Karen and Linda our hygienists, also bring many years of experience to our office. They both are committed to thorough professional care but are unique in their enthusiastic and creative approach. Having your teeth polished and scaled has become fun at Comfort Care. Our hygienists are often complimented on their light, gentle touch.
Dr. Daryl Penner is the most recent addition to our office. Educated at the University of Alberta, Daryl, originally practised at another south west Calgary dental clinic and gained much valuable experience. Inaddition he has extensive continuing education training including endodontics from Boston University and occlusion with the Orognathic Bioesthetic Institute. For those that have met Daryl, all will agree that his exceptional skills and amiable manner have made him a welcome addition to Comfort Care. Daryl is a kind gentle man and enjoys giving his time and skills to those in need. Every year Daryl and his wife Kim travel to remote areas of the world to volunteer through the organization "Kindness in Action". Daryl was so impressed with Comfort Care that he bought the company.
"Doc" Dr Lovick has recently sold Comfort Care but doesn't plan to fully retire just yet. He is still available for you every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Dr Lovick's skills, expertise and experience have been honed over many years of dental practice in the Calgary area. Dr. Lovick graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto, and since has completed many continuing education courses including such programs as Neureleptic sedation from the University of Alberta, Orthodontics from the International Association of Orthodontics, Implantology from Noblepharma, is current in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is one of the first Calgary dentist to become fully certified with Invisalign. Recently Dr Lovick was awarded Premier Provider designation by Invisalign.
